Well One Manchester arrived at the port of Busan, Korea yesterday and the container was offloaded and is waiting for the next ship to arrive at port so it can be loaded and brought across the Pacific Ocean.

Got this email today saying there is an additional 5 day delay on the container in addition to the 2 days it was late leaving port…

Got a late start today but managed to finish insulating and covering the walls in the workshop. Moved the unused drywall off the floor and laid it against the back wall so it’ll be easier to work and move stuff out of the way.

Well the container was finally loaded onto the ship and the ship has departed the Qingdao Port

Finally got word from the factory that they are loading the machine into the shipping container.

The generator came today. The 2 wheeler tires just barely held air long enough to move the delivery from the end of the driveway to the saw horses. Had the boys help me lift it to the saw horses. Wasn’t sure they were going to be able to lift it. I slid it into the back of the car where it just barely fit. Getting it out of the car at the workshop was a lot easier than loading it. I put a couple of 2X4s on the back bumper and slid it down to the ground. Got it unlocked and set up.

Started the SE wall today.

Got all but two pieces of drywall hung on the NW wall.

Wow, what a day!

Got off work and drove to U-Haul in Lawrence. I did most of the check in online so I was really surprised that I was there for 35 minutes before I was sitting in the truck. But the mileage was off by 550 miles. Had to go inside for them to fix it…

Went to Menard’s to pick up the drywall and some 2X4s. Headed to the workshop shop and unloaded the drywall by myself. Was pretty tired.

Returned the truck to U-Haul and they charged me for the 550 miles plus mine so the bill was like 10 times what I expected. In the end they screwed things up so bad that the truck ended up only costing me $15 plus the $8 in gas because they had the fuel reading off as well as the mileage. I only drove 11 miles but whatever.

The machine that was supposed to ship by the end of October is finally completed. I can’t believe it took them 7 weeks to complete when they said 30 days on September 23rd. I expected delivery around December 1st now its going to be closer to the middle of December.
